Seeking a hands‑on Maintenance Supervisor to lead daily maintenance operations within a manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for supervising maintenance technicians, improving equipment reliability, supporting plant operations, and ensuring safe and efficient maintenance practices across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and instrumentation systems.
Responsibilities- Supervise daily maintenance activities in a manufacturing environment
- Lead preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and instrumentation systems
- Support equipment installations, startups, shutdowns, and capital projects
- Drive equipment uptime, reliability, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Train and mentor maintenance technicians while promoting a strong safety culture
- Coordinate contractors and outside vendors on-site
- Maintain maintenance records, ISO documentation, and work orders
- Investigate equipment failures and implement corrective actions
- Provide hands-on technical support as needed on the plant floor
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline preferred, bachelor’s degree, or work experience
- 4+ years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience
- Previous maintenance leadership or supervisory experience required
- Strong troubleshooting experience with mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems
- Knowledge of preventative and predictive maintenance programs
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and P&IDs
- Experience with LOTO, confined space, hot work permits, and industrial safety procedures
- Experience coordinating shutdowns, contractors, and equipment installations
- Experience with vacuum furnace systems is a plus
- Experience in aerospace, defense, electronics, chemical, metals, alloys, or related manufacturing industries preferred
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills
- Hands‑on supervisory role within a manufacturing facility
- Fast‑paced production environment supporting critical plant equipment
- Overtime or weekend support may be required during shutdowns or emergency maintenance situations
- Salary range: $80,000 – $95,000 based on experience
