• Perform routine maintenance, inspection, and repair of hospital facilities and building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and utility infrastructure.
• Execute preventative maintenance activities according to the facility’s maintenance management program and regulatory standards.
• Respond to maintenance service requests and work orders promptly while minimizing disruption to patient care.
• Assist with facility improvement projects such as alterations, remodeling, minor construction, and equipment installation in compliance with hospital policies.
• Support fire and life safety programs by participating in inspections, drills, and corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, preventive maintenance schedules, equipment inspections, and completed work orders.
• Collaborate with Plant Operations leadership and other departments to ensure compliance with safety policies and regulatory standards.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of two (2) years of maintenance experience; hospital or healthcare experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of building systems: HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical equipment.
• Familiarity with healthcare regulatory and safety standards, including those from The Joint Commission, CMS, and OSHA.
• Basic computer skills for work order systems and documentation.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and maintenance instructions.
• Ability to safely operate tools, lift, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces as required.
