Environmental Services Associate (Part-Time) - UPMC Muncy
Help Create a Clean, Safe, and Welcoming Environment at UPMC Muncy!
UPMC Muncy is seeking a Part-Time Environmental Services Associate to join our team. In this role, you'll help maintain a clean, comfortable, and safe environment for residents, patients, visitors, and staff.
Schedule
+ 24 hours per week
+ Primarily located at Muncy Place Nursing Home
+ 6:30 a.m.
- 3:00 p.m.
+ Every third weekend and every third holiday required
What You'll Do
+ Clean resident rooms, public areas, offices, restrooms, and other assigned spaces.
+ Make beds and prepare rooms according to department standards.
+ Empty trash and replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.
+ Inspect assigned areas and report maintenance or repair needs.
+ Follow established safety, sanitation, and infection prevention procedures.
+ Maintain cleaning equipment and report any issues.
+ Assist with moving furniture, equipment, boxes, curtains, and other items as needed.

Due to the schedule, we are not considering high school students for this position.
+ Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
+ Ability to safely operate housekeeping and cleaning equipment.
+ Ability to perform cleaning and sanitation duties in a healthcare environment.
+ May work in areas where medications are stored; no handling of medications is required or permitted.
