Environmental Services Associate (Part-Time) – UPMC Muncy

UPMC Muncy is seeking a Part-Time Environmental Services Associate to join our team. In this role, you'll help maintain a clean, comfortable, and safe environment for residents, patients, visitors, and staff.

Schedule

• 24 hours per week
• Primarily located at Muncy Place Nursing Home
• 6:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
• Every third weekend and every third holiday required

• Clean resident rooms, public areas, offices, restrooms, and other assigned spaces.
• Make beds and prepare rooms according to department standards.
• Empty trash and replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.
• Inspect assigned areas and report maintenance or repair needs.
• Follow established safety, sanitation, and infection prevention procedures.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and report any issues.
• Assist with moving furniture, equipment, boxes, curtains, and other items as needed.

As an Environmental Services Associate, you'll play an important role in creating a safe, clean, and comfortable environment that supports quality care and enhances the experience of residents, patients, visitors, and staff.

Please note:

Due to the schedule, we are not considering high school students for this position.

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to safely operate housekeeping and cleaning equipment.
• Ability to perform cleaning and sanitation duties in a healthcare environment.
• May work in areas where medications are stored; no handling of medications is required or permitted.

Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances

• Act 34 Criminal Clearance
• OAPSA Clearance
