Floor Care Person (Full-Time)
Willow Valley Communities (WVC) is looking for a dedicated Floor Care Person to help maintain the beauty, safety, and cleanliness of our campus and Resident apartments. In this hands-on role, you'll perform professional floor care services, including carpet and tile cleaning, while ensuring all work is completed according to established methods and schedules.

- $17.50 per hour
As a Floor Care Person, you will:
- Receive and complete work orders through a computerized system and direction from leadership
- Clean carpets to remove dirt, stains, soot, smoke, water damage, mildew, and excess moisture
- Place and operate fans and dehumidifiers for moisture control
- Apply fabric conditioners, protectors, deodorizers, and disinfectants
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality and compliance with standards
- Safely operate and maintain floor care equipment, including carpet extractors, buffers, scrubbers, and bonnet machines
- Use cleaning chemicals strictly according to manufacturer guidelines
- Sweep, scrub, wax, polish, and vacuum various floor surfaces
- Clean rugs, carpets, pool areas, locker rooms, and public restrooms
- Transport trash, linen, and recycling bins to designated areas
- Maintain on-call availability for floor care emergencies
- Assist the Maintenance Department when additional support is needed
- Respond as a first responder during fire drills and emergencies
- Perform other duties as assigned
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- High School Diploma or GED; or one to three months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- A valid Pennsylvania Driver's License with a clean motor vehicle record
- The ability to pass an MVR check and complete mandatory driver safety training
- Full-Time
- Monday through Friday, 4:00 PM to 12:30 AM
- Rotating weekends and holidays 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM
