Utility Maintenance Support

This position is responsible for maintaining product flow and relieving team members online for breaks and filling in during labor shortages while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Pay rate: $20.45/hour.

Utility-Maintenance Support Tasks:

• Support the daily activities of the maintenance department in the delivery and picking up of maintenance parts.
• Assure that surrounding areas are clean.
• Drive to outside vendors to pick up or deliver maintenance parts.
• Assure outside grounds work is done, including mowing, weeding in the summer, and shoveling snow in winter.
• Paint areas of the plant and outside.
• Replace tank wheels and repair carts.
• Assist parts room in the inventory.
• Maintain the maintenance shop clean and free of clutter.
• All other duties as assigned.

Must have a valid driver's license. Must have the ability to communicate clearly with outside vendors. Willingness to get Power Industrial Truck certified. Should have basic knowledge of hand tools. Willingness to lift 40 to 50 pounds.

Rehire Consideration:

• Max of two previous Tyson employments to be considered for hire.
• 180 days (6 months) waiting period.
