International Paper - 136 East York Street - Responsibilities:
Maintain plant equipment and facilities in optimum operating condition;
Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and respond to emergency/breakdown reports;
Lubricate machinery, measure wear and positions, reposition components, observe operations, and monitor vibrations/noise;
Follow all safety rules and practices and reference equipment manuals;
Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, steam systems and related components;
Safely operate the boiler and maintain maintenance records;
Coordinate with vendors and sub-contractors as needed;
Maintain teamwork and communicate maintenance status to supervision;
Perform other maintenance duties as assigned
