Maintenance Technician

Horsham Center for Jewish Life is a 324-bed long-term care community dedicated to providing a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained environment for our residents, families, visitors, and staff.

We are looking for a skilled, reliable, and hands-on Full-Time Maintenance Technician to join our Maintenance Department.

This is a full-time position requiring one weekend day each week. The Maintenance Technician will help keep our facility operating safely and efficiently by handling routine repairs, preventative maintenance, and general building maintenance.

• Perform routine repairs and general maintenance throughout the facility.

• Complete scheduled preventative maintenance on building systems and equipment.

• Assist with plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and minor HVAC repairs.

• Respond quickly to maintenance requests and emergency situations.

• Conduct regular safety checks and address maintenance concerns.

• Assist with maintaining the facility grounds and outdoor areas.

• Follow all safety, fire, and infection control regulations.

• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.

• Previous maintenance experience required; healthcare or long-term care experience preferred.

• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general building maintenance.

• Ability to troubleshoot issues and perform repairs independently.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Dependable attendance and willingness to work one weekend day each week.

• Valid driver's license preferred.

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and perform physical tasks throughout the workday.

• Ability to work both indoors and outdoors as needed.
