School Cleaner Jobs in N4 Postcode

School cleaners keep classrooms safe, clean, and germ-free. Main duties include mopping floors, vacuuming carpets, sanitizing restrooms, and emptying bins. They restock paper and soap. They also clean up spills and spot-check shared surfaces. Cleaners must use chemicals safely and report broken items.

• Daily upkeep:
  Sweep, mop, and vacuum assigned areas.
• Restroom hygiene:
  Disinfect toilets, sinks, and urinals, and refill hand soap and toilet paper.
• Waste management:
  Empty bins and take out the trash.
• Surface cleaning:
  Wipe down desks, tables, and door handles.

• Safety first:
  Know how to use cleaning chemicals safely. You must also follow COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) rules.
• Fitness:
  Be able to lift, bend, and move lightweight classroom furniture.
• Safeguarding:
  All school staff must pass a background check. In the UK, this is an enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check.
• Teamwork:
  Work well with site managers and other staff.

• Experience:
  
  Past cleaning experience is helpful but not always required. On-the-job training is often provided.

Pay: £14.80 per hours

Shift Pattern:
Monday to Friday

Shift times: 06am to 09am & 15:00pm to 18:00pm. You can do both or just one shift. It's your choice.
