Warehouse Floor Technician

Kellermeyer Bergensons Services (KBS) is seeking a Warehouse Floor Technician to support our Warehouse & Manufacturing operations. In this role, you will perform floor cleaning, scrubbing, sweeping, and debris removal, operate floor-care equipment, and help maintain a clean, safe warehouse environment. Responsibilities include routine and deep cleaning, following safety and PPE protocols, reporting hazards or spills, and supporting general housekeeping tasks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clean, safe warehouse and manufacturing floors using auto-scrubbers, sweepers, and other floor care equipment
• Perform routine and deep floor cleaning, including sweeping, scrubbing, mopping, and spill response in active production and storage areas
• Follow all KBS and customer safety standards, including PPE use, safe equipment operation, and adherence to OSHA and facility guidelines
• Inspect floors and surrounding areas for hazards such as debris, leaks, and obstructions, and report or correct issues promptly
• Handle and store cleaning chemicals safely, following label instructions and SDS guidance for proper use and disposal
• Support production and warehouse operations by keeping aisles, docks, staging areas, and high-traffic zones clear and orderly
• Conduct basic preventive maintenance checks on cleaning equipment and report needed repairs or service to supervisors
• Accurately follow work orders, cleaning schedules, and task lists to meet service and quality expectations
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and facility staff to coordinate work around ongoing warehouse and manufacturing activities
• Consistently model reliability, professionalism, and adherence to KBS standards for service, quality, and customer satisfaction
