Maintenance Reliability EngineerA Vacancy has arisen for the position of Maintenance Engineer, reporting to the maintenance and Engineering Manager, within the Engineering Department.

The responsibilities and accountabilities of the role will include but are not limited to the following:

Key Responsibilities:

Provide Supervision and leadership of the site Craft Team and the Maintenance Stores Ensure that all work performed by the Team complies with all health and safety regulations and site standards

Ensure the safe and efficient planning and execution of work performed by the Maintenance Team Ownership of the site Equipment Reliability Centred Maintenance program

Managing all aspects of external resources providers used in the execution of Maintenance Plans Manage all HR aspects relating to team

Lead and participate as required in FMEA’s and RCA’sProactive in identifying potential plant operating issues and providing solutions to address same Monitoring and tracking of Maintenance and Plant KPI’s, managing remedial action plans and developing and implementing plans/programs to address adverse trends

Ensure Job Function Curricula and development plans in place and maintained for team Assessment of Planned and Executed Maintenance work for impact on Process Safety, EHS and Product Quality, and managing the associated Change Control documentation

Support the execution of the Site Capital Program Effective budgeting and cost control management

Ensure Maintenance Documentation and records are audit ready

Key Competencies Time served Craftsman with at least 10 years industrial experience or a Degree or equivalent in a relevant Engineering Discipline with at least 10 years industrial experience

Previous leadership experience in a similar supervisory role would be advantageous

Knowledge of Reliability Centred Maintenance best practices and Utilities Management desirable

Solid understanding of health and safety regulations and best practices

Strong IT skills including computer-controlled equipment would be advantageous.

Previous experience with SAP IT System also desirable

Personal Attributes Good verbal and interpersonal communication skills

Strong Team Player with ability to multitask and maintain an organized workplace

Ability to direct and motivate others and hold others accountable

Strong problem solving, decisive decision making and organizational abilities with a hands-on mentality essential
