This position helps design, build, and finish custom furniture, shelving, and other items used across agency stores and offices. It supports safe operations and high-quality craftsmanship while contributing to emergency response when needed. As a Maintenance Repairman 2, you will perform the following duties:

• Design Support:
  Interpret conceptual drawings, revise sketches, and provide input on materials and construction methods
• Project Planning:
  Offer guidance on sequencing work, estimating needs, and selecting approaches that improve quality and efficiency
• Construction Work:
  Use woodworking tools, measuring devices, and multiple trade skills to build and finish custom items
• Material Layout:
  Plan cuts and layouts to reduce waste and ensure accurate, attractive results
• Shop Safety:
  Maintain tools, organize materials, and follow safety practices to support a safe work environment
• Emergency Response:
  Assist with urgent repairs caused by weather or operational issues to secure facilities

• Full-time employment
• Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.

• Two years of experience as a Maintenance Repairman 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
• Four years of experience in building and plant maintenance work, which has involved at least two of the building, electrical, or mechanical trades; or
• Any equivalent combination of experience and training that affords the applicant with the Required Knowledges, Skills, and Abilities.

• This position requires possession of a valid Pennsylvania Class C Driver's License.

• You must pass a background investigation.
