The Custodial Worker 1 position with the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, Ohiopyle State Park offers a chance to keep park facilities clean and welcoming for all visitors. This job provides hands on experience caring for buildings and outdoor areas. You will take part in important tasks that support a safe and enjoyable environment. This role is ideal for individuals who take pride in maintaining neat and orderly spaces.

This position supports the cleaning, upkeep and general care of park buildings and grounds. As a Custodial Worker 1, you will perform the following duties:

• Clean Facilities: Sweep, mop, scrub, and maintain floors, furniture, and fixtures
• Care For Restrooms: Wash surfaces, replace supplies, and service both standard and specialty restroom types
• Handle Waste: Gather garbage, recycling, and hazardous materials and dispose of them properly
• Maintain Supplies: Monitor cleaning materials and secure tools and equipment
• Assist With Grounds: Pick up litter, clear walkways, and perform outdoor upkeep tasks

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

• Full-time employment
• Employee will work 37.5/5 days per week to include holidays and weekends.
