This job provides meaningful work that helps maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment. You will support daily activities by caring for the office and grounds throughout the year. This position focuses on maintaining the Clearfield County Maintenance Office and its surrounding grounds to ensure a clean and safe environment. As a Custodial Worker 1, you will perform the following duties:
- Indoor Cleaning: Clean floors, windows, furniture, and fixtures using routine manual methods
- Restroom Care: Clean restrooms and replace needed supplies
- Grounds Maintenance: Maintain outside areas by mowing grass, clearing snow, and sweeping walkways
- Waste Disposal: Dispose of waste paper and building trash in the correct manner
- Minor Repairs: Make small repairs to plumbing, electrical systems, and building features
- Daily Communication: Communicate with supervisors and coworkers to complete assigned tasks
Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Seasonal, full-time employment
- Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Work hours will vary with this position as schedule is irregular and rotating.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
