Facilities Maintenance Specialist

About the Role

As a Facilities Maintenance Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless operation of our industrial manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for diagnosing complex mechanical and electrical issues, performing preventative maintenance, and executing repairs to maximize equipment uptime and facility efficiency.

• Execute comprehensive inspections of manufacturing machinery to identify and resolve potential failures before they impact production.
• Diagnose and repair intricate mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, including facility electrical infrastructure up to 440V.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to install, calibrate, and commission new production lines and specialized equipment.
• Manage routine facility upkeep, including building systems, lighting, and general infrastructure to maintain a safe and productive workspace.
• Utilize hand, pneumatic, and power tools to perform precise manual repairs and equipment modifications.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation using internal software systems to track repair history and inventory.
• Support cross-functional teams by responding to emergency maintenance requests and optimizing daily workflow processes.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in an industrial or manufacturing maintenance environment.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
• Proficiency in operating heavy equipment, including forklifts and scissor lifts.
• Ability to lift up to 35lbs and work effectively in a fast-paced team setting.

• Technical proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and enterprise resource planning software.
• Strong background in industrial construction and machinery installation.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects with a focus on strategic problem-solving and adaptability.
