DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Chief Engineer to lead our facility maintenance operations. This hands‑on leadership role is responsible for the overall maintenance, repair, and functionality of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and more. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, excellent problem‑solving skills, and proven experience managing maintenance teams in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.
As a key member of our operations team, the Chief Engineer ensures all building systems operate efficiently, comply with safety standards, and meet brand expectations.
Responsibilities- Create and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
- Inspect and evaluate building systems to identify required maintenance, repairs, or system upgrades.
- Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise maintenance staff, fostering a culture of accountability and growth.
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee maintenance projects, ensuring timely and cost‑effective completion.
- Lead and manage all aspects of the maintenance department, ensuring consistent quality, safety, and operational excellence.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, with a customer‑focused approach.
- Strong technical expertise in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general building systems.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in staff development, evaluations, and scheduling.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving abilities.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive maintenance experience.
$40,000 - $50,000 yearly
