Overview
To provide continuous 24-hour operation of NFCU GPO facility systems supporting critical functions and the work environment. Assist with Rec center and Shuttle service as needed.

Responsibilities- Assesses problems and unusual or emergency situations such as:
- Fire alarms
- Electrical outages
- Water damage
- Security breaches
- Weather conditions
- Performs preventive maintenance on:
- Stair chairs
- Fire extinguishers
- Emergency boxes
- Fireman key operation for elevators
- Emergency Lights in stairwells
- Hurricane Supplies
- Notifies supervisor of malfunctioning equipment and arranges for repairs
- Determines and assigns a priority level to the request and enters details into the facility management system
- Resolves the request through coordination with in-house personnel and/or forwards service tickets
- Designs and generates reports
- Informs employees of work order status until problem is resolved to the employee's satisfaction
- Prepares reports for review by facility management supervisors
- Updates and revises directories of names, and phone numbers of support personnel
- Assistance with shuttle service
- Assist with normal shuttle route on busy days
- Run shuttle bus for special requests including Tours, NFCU events, and team events
- Drive shuttle route when permanent shuttle driver is out of office
- Assist with Shuttle maintenance:
- Inspections
- Cleaning/detailing
- Refueling
- Assist with the rec center
- Assist monitoring email
- Monitor field usage for safety
- Performs other duties as assigned or appropriate
- Experience with automated building systems (mechanical, electrical, security and/or fire)
- Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, set priorities, work rotating shifts, and lift thirty-five pounds
- Ability to exercise judgment and initiative, while made sound decisions and effective critical thinking skills
- High school education
- One year experience in building trades (mechanical or electrical) or facility management
- Working knowledge of software programs in word processing, spreadsheet, and database management
- Advanced knowledge of Navy Federal’s functions, philosophy, operations, and organizational objectives
- 7:00PM – 7:00AM;
Rotating shift
