As a Maintenance Supervisor youll play a key role in ensuring our properties remain a place our residents are proud to call home Youll be the go to expert for troubleshooting and resolving mechanical and electrical challenges while ensuring maintenance operations run smoothly and efficiently This role is perfect for a hands on leader who thrives in a fast paced environment has a passion for their field and loves working as part of a team Your work will have a direct impact on the daily lives of our residents helping us deliver the high standards of service Madison Communities is known for

• Manage all aspects of property maintenance including electrical plumbing carpentry and mechanical systems
• Plan and oversee the maintenance budget ensuring operations stay within financial guidelines
• Maintain organized clean and safe shop areas with adequate levels of replacement parts and tools
• Recruit train and supervise a skilled maintenance team fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork
• Collaborate with property management to ensure the smooth operation of maintenance activities
• Respond quickly to emergency maintenance needs to minimize disruptions for residents
• Lead by example to ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards

Proven experience in plumbing electrical systems carpentry and construction Mechanical aptitude and problem solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve challenges EPA Certification and Certified Pool Operator CPO certification required Strong supervisory experience with the ability to lead and inspire a team Excellent communication and customer service skills with a resident focused mindset
