Facility Engineer

The Facilities Engineer coordinates and performs overall daily building and property maintenance in a geographic area with the assistance of staff and external vendors. The position is Monday through Friday, with flexibility for nighttime or weekend coverage as needed for emergency conditions.

• Diagnose and maintain building systems including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and other building-related tasks.
• Inspect buildings, equipment, and systems to identify maintenance needs, safety hazards, and potential issues.
• Provide recommendations for repairs or improvements and respond to maintenance requests.
• Set up and install new equipment, fixtures, furniture, or appliances as required, ensuring proper functioning and compliance with safety standards.
• Perform preventive maintenance following schedules and procedures.
• Repair or replace faulty parts or equipment as needed.
• Monitor and manage stock levels of maintenance supplies, tools, and equipment, coordinating procurement within budgetary constraints.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols and mitigate potential safety hazards.

Demonstrated experience in facilities maintenance, repair, and preventive maintenance operations within a building or data center environment.

Hourly base salary: $29.09 - $41.54. Eligible for overtime pay in accordance with local state and federal requirements. Monthly stipend for personal mobile device usage if applicable. Eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.
