Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Logan at Jomax, a 141+ unit Class A/Conventional property. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Maintenance Technician will assist in all aspects of property maintenance to ensure a safe, well‑maintained, and attractive living environment for residents. Responsibilities- Assist in conducting inspections, repairs, and preventative maintenance tasks to maintain property integrity and functionality.
- Collaborate with the Maintenance Supervisor and team members, assisting with scheduling, training, and tasks to ensure efficient operations and high‑quality service delivery.
- Support compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and company policies through inspections and prompt issue resolution.
- Assist in managing the maintenance budget, monitoring expenses, and identifying cost‑saving opportunities while upholding quality standards.
- Collaborate with external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and services, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment, tools, and supplies, overseeing inventory levels and procurement processes.
- Respond promptly to maintenance emergencies, including after‑hours and on‑call responsibilities, ensuring resident safety and satisfaction.
- Minimum of 4 years of property maintenance experience.
- Proficiency in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repairs.
- Strong team collaboration and support skills.
- Excellent problem‑solving abilities with a proactive approach.
- Effective communication skills for interactions with residents, staff, and vendors.
- Previous experience in a customer service‑oriented role.
- Successful completion of mandatory background and drug screenings.
- Certified Apartment Maintenance Technician (CAMT)
- HVAC certification
- Certified Pool Operator (CPO)
