Senior Electrical Maintenance Technician
Shift: 1st Shift, Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Compensation: $30–$38 per hour
This senior-level position plays a key role in overseeing advanced maintenance operations within an industrial environment. You will lead by example, mentor junior technicians, and ensure electrical systems operate safely and efficiently.

What You’ll Do:- Perform advanced troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair on mechanical, ELECTRICAL, and plumbing systems including HVAC, motors, pumps, compressors, and control systems
- Diagnose complex equipment issues and implement effective corrective actions
- Lead and mentor junior maintenance technicians to maintain high-quality performance standards
- Develop and oversee preventive maintenance programs to reduce downtime and extend equipment life
- Respond to and lead emergency repair efforts to minimize operational disruptions
- Review and prioritize work orders and maintenance schedules
- Assist with planning and execution of major maintenance projects and equipment upgrades
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, parts usage, and documentation
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, environmental, and safety regulations
- Support audits, inspections, and regulatory reviews
- Collaborate with operations, engineering, and leadership teams to align maintenance with production goals
- Recommend improvements to maintenance practices, equipment reliability, and safety procedures
What We’re Looking For
Required Qualifications:- High school diploma or equivalent (technical certification or degree preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical, ELECTRICAL, or facilities maintenance
- At least 2 years of experience in a senior or leadership role
- Advanced troubleshooting skills across mechanical and electrical systems
- Experience developing and managing preventive maintenance programs
- Strong leadership and mentoring abilities
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools such as multimeters, vibration analyzers, and torque wrenches
- Strong understanding of OSHA standards and lockout/tagout procedures
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
- Certification in industrial maintenance, HVAC, or mechanical/ELECTRICAL systems
- Experience with building automation systems, PLCs, or industrial controls
- Background in manufacturing or large-scale industrial facilities
- Project management experience including budgeting and scheduling
- Familiarity with CMMS systems for tracking work orders and maintenance tasks
- Experience with advanced diagnostic tools including vibration analysis and thermography equipment
- Proficiency using software for scheduling, reporting, and documentation
- Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings, weekends, or on-call shifts
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and work in confined or elevated spaces
- Willingness to travel to other sites if required
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous improvement
