We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead all maintenance operations within our manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for maximizing equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and leading a skilled maintenance team to support safe and efficient production. The ideal candidate will have strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting experience, hands‑on knowledge of PLC-controlled equipment, and a proven ability to implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
Key Responsibilities- Lead, coach, and develop a team of maintenance technicians while promoting a strong safety culture.
- Plan, schedule, and oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC-related equipment issues.
- Maintain and improve the reliability of manufacturing equipment to maximize uptime and productivity.
- Partner with Production, Engineering, and Quality to improve equipment performance and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Analyze equipment failures, identify root causes, and implement permanent corrective actions.
- Manage maintenance budgets, spare parts inventory, and vendor relationships.
- Coordinate installation, startup, and commissioning of new equipment and facility improvements.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, environmental, and company safety standards.
- Develop and maintain maintenance KPIs, including downtime, PM completion, and equipment reliability metrics.
- Drive continuous improvement using Lean Manufacturing, TPM, and Root Cause Analysis methodologies.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field preferred. Equivalent maintenance leadership experience will also be considered.
- 5+ years of maintenance leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong experience troubleshooting and supporting PLC-based automated equipment is required.
- Experience with CMMS software for maintenance planning and work order management.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and maintenance best practices.
- Experience with capital projects, equipment installations, and continuous improvement initiatives is preferred.
