Expected pay for this position is $20.21 - $23.77/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is an Hourly position.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Maintenance Tech I performs a variety of routine maintenance, repair, and preventive tasks that support the safe and reliable operation of healthcare facilities. Working under direct supervision and in accordance with established departmental procedures, regulatory standards, and life safety requirements, the technician assists in maintaining building systems, equipment, and the physical environment. The technician is expected to use hand tools, power tools, measurement devices, and test instruments safely and efficiently while demonstrating professionalism and accountability.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Valid Illinois Driver's License

Other Skills/Knowledge:

  • Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Basic reading, writing, and mechanical aptitude.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 6 months related work experience
  • Analytical skills and manual dexterity.
