Description

Maintenance/Facilities Technician – Senior Living Facility

Join our dedicated team at a respected senior living community, where we prioritize the comfort, safety, and well-being of our residents. We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance/Facilities Worker to ensure our facility remains safe, functional, and welcoming. If you have experience in basic plumbing, carpentry, and electrical work, and take pride in maintaining a high standard of facility operations, we encourage you to apply.

: $20.00/hour

Hours
:
Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm (
Flexible Start Time Available
)

* This position will have on call responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs in plumbing, carpentry, and electrical systems throughout the facility
  • Conduct inspections to identify and address maintenance issues proactively
  • Assist with installation, replacement, and repair of fixtures, appliances, and equipment
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and work orders
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or residents
  • Assist in general facility upkeep to ensure a safe and comfortable environment

Skills and

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in basic plumbing, carpentry, and electrical work
  • HVAC certification a plus
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations related to maintenance tasks
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues efficiently
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Good communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Physical ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs., bending, and standing for extended periods
  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications are a plus
