Day Porter – Healthcare Facility

ESS Clean is seeking a dependable, professional, and customer-focused Day Porter to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming healthcare environment in the Peoria/Pekin area. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys staying active, and understands the importance of providing excellent service in a healthcare setting. As a Day Porter, you will interact with patients, medical staff, visitors, and facility personnel every day, making professionalism and strong customer service skills essential.

Position Details:

• Schedule:
  
  9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Starting Wage: $19.00/hour
• Consistent daytime schedule
• Training provided
• Opportunities for advancement
• Uniform:
  Collared shirt and khaki pants

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain clean, safe, and presentable areas throughout the facility
• Perform routine cleaning and sanitizing throughout the day
• Vacuum, mop, spot clean, and maintain floors
• Clean and maintain restrooms and common areas
• Empty trash and replenish supplies as needed
• Monitor high-traffic areas and address cleaning needs promptly
• Respond professionally and courteously to requests from patients and medical staff
• Follow established cleaning procedures and healthcare facility standards
• Communicate any maintenance, safety, or cleanliness concerns to the appropriate team member
• Provide a positive and professional presence throughout the facility
