Janitor/Maintenance

The janitor manages the cleanliness and general upkeep of interior and exterior spaces. This role ensures a healthy environment for employees, visitors, or residents.

• Floor Care: Sweep, mop, vacuum, and scrub hard floors and carpets. Buff or wax floors when needed.
• Waste Management: Empty trash cans and recycling bins, then move waste to designated outdoor containers.
• Surface Disinfection:
  Wipe down high-touch surfaces like doorknobs, light switches, desks, and shared equipment.
• Minor Maintenance:
  Replace burned-out light bulbs, fix loose fixtures, or report major repair needs to management.
• Lawn Care:
  Mows grass, edges borders, applies fertilizer, and removes weeds.
• Plant Maintenance:
  Water, prune, and trim trees, shrubs, and flower beds.
• Debris Removal:
  Clears leaves, fallen branches, and trash from walkways and parking lots.
• Seasonal Cleanup:
  Plants seasonal flowers in spring and removes dead foliage in autumn.
• Snow and Ice Control:
  Clears snow and spreads salt on sidewalks during winter months.
