General Description
The purpose of this job within the organization is to assist with maintaining and securing the Dogwood Trace Golf Carts at the end of each playing day.
This job works under close supervision according to set procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities
The functions listed below are those that represent the majority of the time spent working in this job. Management may assign additional functions related to the type of work of the job as necessary.
Essential Functions

Essential Functions:

Assembles and aligns golf carts returned to pro shop area.

Cleans carts, rinses off floor boards and removes trash.

Picks-up golf balls on the driving range.

Gases up golf carts.

Maintains cleanliness of golf ball washer, golf ball dispenser and periodically cleans range shed.

Additional Duties:
Empties and removes trash from trash baskets in pro shop and takes trash from outside trash barrels to dumpster.
Assists with picking-up golf balls on the driving range using the ball picker.
Performs related work as assigned.

Physical Demands:
Physical demands refer to the requirements for physical exertion and coordination of limb and body movement.

Performs sedentary work that involves walking or standing some of the time and involves exerting up to 10 pounds of force on a regular and recurring basis or sustained keyboard operations.

Equipment Usage:
Equipment usage involves responsibility for materials, machines, tools, equipment, work aids, and products.

Handles or uses golf carts, tools, equipment or work aids involving little or no latitude for judgment regarding attainment of a standard or in selecting appropriate items.

Unavoidable Hazards:

Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
Entry level education for this position does not require completion of high school.

Graduation from high school with some public contact experience preferred.

An equivalent combination of training and experience (as approved by the department) may be used to meet the minimum qualifications of the position.
