Floor Tech
The Floor Tech employee is the face of the gym floor; you are the person a member sees when he or she is working out inside the facility. It is important that this person has a friendly demeanor with great eye for detail. The Floor Tech employee is responsible for the overall upkeep of the fitness floor, equipment, and surrounding areas, walls & mirrors.

Requirements include a positive upbeat personality, effective communication skills, the ability to multi-task, customer service orientation, punctuality, responsibility, attention to detail, and willingness to handle any cleanliness issues.
The working environment is inside the Retro Fitness Outlet. Working hours could vary and include mornings, evenings, and weekends.
This position is supervised by the Front End Manager.

Responsibilities of Floor Tech include cleaning and maintenance of Retro Fitness outlet main floor, testing equipment for efficiency, stocking of products/items, lubricating and greasing of circuit training equipment, reporting any facility issues to Management/Ownership, spot cleaning of walls, mirrors, windows, & diamond plating, re-racking of weights, disinfecting equipment and upholstery, facility dusting, following company policies & procedures. All Floor Tech employees are to wear company staff shirt along with either Khaki pants or black athletic pants.
Sneakers must always be worn. No boots, heals, or open toe shoes or sandals. Floor Techs should always be well groomed and neat. Floor Techs are required to complete the Daily Cleaning Checklist and have a Manager sign off before completing their shift.
