Job Summary

The Event Facility Custodial Manager is responsible for overseeing all custodial and facility support operations at event venues and client facilities. This position ensures that facilities remain clean, safe, and presentable before, during, and after events while managing custodial personnel, equipment, schedules, and quality standards. The manager serves as the primary liaison between operations, event organizers, and custodial staff to ensure successful event execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage custodial operations for event venues and assigned facilities.
  • Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise custodial staff.
  • Ensure facilities meet cleanliness, sanitation, and safety standards.
  • Conduct routine inspections and quality-control audits.
  • Coordinate event setup and breakdown activities with operations teams.
  • Manage cleaning equipment, supplies, inventory, and vendor relationships.
  • Address emergency cleaning requests and facility incidents.
  • Prepare staffing schedules and labor plans based on event requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records, inspection reports, and inventory logs.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and company safety procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, facility management, and operations leadership.
  • Manage facility invoices
  • Ability to travel to different site locations as needed.
  • Submitting and approving employee payroll on a weekly basis in accordance with company payroll deadlines.
  • Training employees on-site in accordance with Team Clean's policies, procedures, and job descriptions.
  • Utilizing their designated administrative time each day to review and edit employee timecards, correct missed punches, and ensure payroll accuracy.
  • Becoming proficient in ADP Workforce Now and the eTime system, including reviewing, editing, and submitting payroll each week.
  • Investigating and resolving any payroll discrepancies that arise by working with Payroll to ensure employees are paid accurately and on time.
  • Ensuring all payroll records are complete, accurate, and submitted by the required deadlines.
Qualifications Required
  • College degree preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of custodial, facilities, housekeeping, or environmental services experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of supervisory or management experience.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work on flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred
  • Experience managing custodial operations at stadiums, arenas, convention centers, festivals, or large public events.
  • Knowledge of floor care programs, pressure washing, and specialized cleaning equipment.
  • Experience with staffing, budgeting, and workforce planning.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to climb stairs and perform facility inspections throughout large venues.
Work Schedule

Schedules vary based on event operations. This position requires availability during evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.

Compensation and Benefits
