Engineer III Maintenance

Marriott is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer III to support reliable, safe, and efficient hotel operations. In this role, you will perform complex preventive and corrective maintenance on guest rooms, public areas, kitchens, and building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical equipment. You will troubleshoot issues, prioritize work orders, and coordinate with vendors to minimize downtime. The Engineer III helps lead larger repair projects, mentors junior technicians, and ensures compliance with brand, safety, and regulatory standards, contributing to exceptional guest comfort and a well maintained property.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex preventive and corrective maintenance on building systems and guest areas
• Troubleshoot HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical issues
• Respond to and prioritize work orders to minimize guest impact
• Assist in planning and executing larger repair and renovation projects
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and logs
• Ensure compliance with safety, fire, and regulatory standards
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed
• Mentor and support junior maintenance staff
• Inspect guestrooms and public spaces to ensure Marriott brand standards
• Support emergency response for facility-related incidents
