Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for the overall cleanliness and condition of the Ivy Residences and surrounding property. This will include a daily routine cleaning schedule of all common areas, trash removal, inspection of rooms/property, complete work orders, painting, preventative maintenance and care and upkeep.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Experience in multifamily maintenance and experience involving affordable housing, senior housing, or special needs housing.
  • Must be able to keep information in a confidential and secure fashion.
  • Must have High School Diploma or GED and at least two years building maintenance experience.
  • Must be a self-starter who can work in an environment with multiple changing work priorities.
  • Good verbal and writing communication skills.
  • Must have an understanding of and appreciation for the Mission of The Salvation Army.
  • Child Protection Clearances PA Act 153 requires that all prospective employees complete the following clearance and background checks: PA Child Abuse History Clearance, PA State Police Criminal Record Check and FBI Criminal Record/Fingerprint Check.
