Job Summary

Custodian – Maintenance/Transportation Worker, full‑time, 10.5‑month school year position at Wilson School District. Pay $16.00–$17.00 per hour depending on experience. Provides direct maintenance, transportation, minor maintenance, supply delivery, and cleaning to maintain a safe, clean environment.

• Perform scheduled housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and neat appearance at all district locations.
• Assume specific housekeeping duties including vacuuming, dust mopping, dusting, wet mopping, cleaning glass, washing exterior walkways, waxing, buffing, painting, stripping, and shampooing.
• Perform minor maintenance to the building related to electrical, mechanical, plumbing, painting, and equipment maintenance.
• Operate heavy machinery as required.

• High School diploma or GED.
• Prior experience as a custodian.
• Maintenance experience in electrical or mechanical equipment.
• Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
• Ability to work without supervision.
• Working knowledge of industrial equipment.
• Basic housekeeping knowledge.
• Good physical health.
