Cleaning Specialist

Job Summary

Trevor's is looking for enthusiastic people to join our growing team. We are currently seeking a Cleaning Specialist for one of our locations. As a Cleaning Specialist you will play a crucial role in maintaining the overall cleanliness, sanitation, and presentation of our dining and retail establishment. This position ensures that guests enjoy a clean, safe, and inviting environment during their dining and/or shopping experience.

• Cleaning guest facing areas:
  Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in the dining room, bar, and entryways to maintain a tidy and professional appearance.
• Sanitize and dust all surfaces:
  Wipe down, dust and sanitize tables, chairs, shelves, and floor fixtures ensuring they are clean and inviting for every guest.
• Restroom upkeep:
  Deep clean and stock restrooms, making sure they’re always fresh and presentable for our guests.
• Waste management:
  Empty trash bins and ensure waste is properly disposed of, keeping the restaurant neat and tidy.
• Entrance and windows:
  Clean windows, doors, and entryways to ensure the restaurant looks inviting from the outside in.
• General small item maintenance:
  Fix items that may require small repair using common household tools.

• Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial work (restaurant experience a plus but not required).
• An eye for detail and pride in keeping spaces clean and well-maintained.
• Ability to handle cleaning chemicals safely and follow proper sanitation practices.
• Physical stamina: able to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods.
• Team player with a positive attitude and the ability to stay on task and receive feedback on their work performance.

This role requires working early mornings and days. Protective equipment and cleaning tools will be provided. This position is vital to maintaining a welcoming, safe, and enjoyable environment for all restaurant guests.
