Job Description Main responsibilities

Follow and promote proper Pharmacy, general safety and security procedures and processes of the company.

Assist with preparation of intra-facility transfers (i.e. completed prescription orders) for delivery to stores. These are non‑technician tasks to support central fill operations.

Maintain automated production lines, inspect/prepare packages, sort, and apply manifest information to prescription orders.

Organize totes on pallets to prepare for shipment. Works with transportation partners to ship completed totes to stores.

Assist with maintaining the pharmacy system and technologies that facilitate proper conveyance, packaging, and shipping of prescriptions. Escalate technical and workflow issues as needed.

Monitoring and maintaining uptime of automated counting, collating, packaging, and sorting devices, ensuring continuous operation through basic troubleshooting of routine errors.

Assist with replenishment of supplies and cleaning of workstations as needed.

Create and maintain documentation as requested.

Assist Inventory Technicians as requested. Participate in Inventory Audits.

Other duties as assigned concurrent with all applicable laws and regulations.

Qualifications and experience

Required:

  • High School Diploma/GED and at least 2 years of experience in a retail or fulfillment center environment.
  • Ability to preserve confidentiality of patient information.

Preferred:

  • Previous experience working with an inventory management system, including working with scanning equipment, conveyor lines and/or robotic systems, etc.

Technical

Experience:

  • Prefers to work in a closed‑door environment (no adjudication, customer interaction, phone work.)
Physical Requirements

Willing and able to stand/walk at least 8 hours with or without reasonable accommodation.

Willing and able to perform tasks which include pushing, pulling, grasping, bending, stooping, rotating, reaching, and lifting/carrying up to 40 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.

Visual focus such as counting, observing, etc. is required consistently.

Performing repetitive tasks up to 100% of the time.

Pay Transparency

Starting rates will be no less than the local minimum wage and may vary based on things like location, experience, qualifications, and the terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement. Candidates with unique qualifications may be considered for compensation above this range. Dependent on length of service, hours worked, any applicable collective bargaining agreement and/or Company policy, benefits may include medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance, sick pay, PTO/Vacation pay, paid holidays, bereavement pay and retirement benefits (pension and/or 401(k) eligibility).

Associates in this position may be eligible for a quarterly bonus, subject to Company bonus plans. Applications are accepted on an on‑going basis.


* For roles in Washington State:
Sick pay and PTO/Vacation pay are accrued based on hours worked and paid holidays are issued at 7-9 days annually.
