As an R&O Maintenance Technician at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing equipment to ensure operational reliability and efficiency. You will be responsible for performing routine and preventive maintenance tasks, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and supporting the overall maintenance team to minimize downtime and optimize production processes.

You will report directly to our Facilities Maintenance Supervisor, and work out of our Phoenix, AZ location on an on-site work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the operational performance and safety of our facilities by ensuring that all equipment is maintained to the highest standards, contributing to Honeywell’s commitment to quality and continuous improvement.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment to ensure reliable operation.
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions promptly to minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to support production goals and safety standards.
YOU MUST HAVE
  • Proven experience in maintenance roles, particularly in repair and overhaul (R&O) of industrial equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical systems, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Hands‑on skills with tools and equipment used for maintenance and repair tasks.
  • Familiarity with safety protocols and compliance standards in an industrial environment.
  • Experience using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) to track work orders and maintenance schedules.

  • Technical diploma or associate degree in maintenance technology or related field.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Knowledge of predictive maintenance techniques and equipment diagnostics.
