Felix Construction Company is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Parts Specialist to support our fleet and heavy equipment operations from our Phoenix shop. This role is critical in minimizing equipment downtime by ensuring our mechanics and field teams have the right parts—when they need them. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of diesel and construction equipment components and thrives in a fast‑paced, hands‑on shop environment.

$24 - $32 an hour

What You'll Be Doing
  • Source, procure, and manage parts for a diverse fleet including heavy equipment, diesel trucks, trailers, and specialty construction machinery
  • Partner closely with shop mechanics and field teams to quickly identify and fulfill parts needs to minimize equipment downtime
  • Research and verify parts using OEM manuals, schematics, and vendor systems to ensure proper fit and function
  • Manage inventory of critical fleet and equipment parts, maintaining accurate stock levels and organization
  • Receive, inspect, label, and store incoming parts and materials
  • Track and manage warranties, returns, and core exchanges with vendors
  • Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure competitive pricing and rapid delivery
  • Monitor usage trends and forecast high‑turn or critical spare parts to support proactive maintenance
  • Assist in coordinating emergency/urgent parts orders for field breakdowns
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safety‑compliant parts and shop area
  • Support fleet maintenance tracking systems and ensure accurate documentation of parts usage
  • Work from the Felix Construction Phoenix shop and support field operations across the Valley
Who You Are
  • 2+ years of experience in parts management for heavy equipment, diesel fleet, or construction machinery required
  • Strong working knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and heavy equipment components
  • Experience supporting fleets of CAT, Komatsu, John Deere, or similar equipment preferred
  • Proven ability to quickly source parts and solve equipment‑related issues under time pressure
  • Familiarity with fleet maintenance or inventory management systems
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and inventory control discipline
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally with mechanics and field teams
  • Comfortable working in a shop environment and adapting to shifting priorities
  • Forklift experience preferred
  • Proficient in basic computer systems (Excel, vendor portals, inventory software)
  • Have the legal right to work in the U.S. for any employer without sponsorship
