Overview

Schedule:

Tuesday - Saturday 12pm - 9pm. A Janitorial Supervisor at Velociti Services is responsible for leading a team of cleaners in their cleaning tasks. The Supervisor ensures all work areas are cleaned by cleaners to Velociti Services and client standards, responds to client inquiries and specific requests, and communicates cleaning requests to teams.

Responsibilities
  • The supervision of all cleaning staff focusing on their performance in terms of standards of cleanliness and their behavior whilst on duty.
  • Must possess excellent communication skills in speaking, writing, and listening.
  • Must have good interpersonal attributes, being approachable and easily getting along with people.
  • Must be outstanding when it comes to organization and coordination of both humans and their activities.
  • Ensuring a best‑in‑class cleaning service is delivered to all areas of the worksite/building.
  • Reviewing work schedules.
  • Keeping track of inventory, ordering cleaning materials/supplies and equipment.
  • Monitoring all cleaning activities.
  • Ensuring all staff are aware of the Health and Safety policies and procedures.
  • Quickly resolving disputes between staff.
  • Training new employees.
  • Filling in / General Cleaning as needed.
  • Communicating with management.
  • Resolving any complaints and conflicts.
  • Disciplining and rewarding employees.
  • Maintaining good relationships with customers.
  • Conducting worksite inspections.
  • Other duties as assigned or requested.
Qualifications
  • Must be able to clear a Federal background and clearance at the airport.
  • Team player with a positive attitude and ability to maintain morale.
  • Previous experience in a cleaning environment.
  • Previous experience in managing a team.
  • The ability to implement and adhere to standards and procedures.
  • The ability to stand, sit and walk for extended periods of time.
  • The ability to process negative feedback and remain professional.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate them when appropriate.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Passion for customer service.
  • Accountability and dependability.
  • A strong commitment to company service values.
  • High School Graduate or higher preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and MVR required.
  • Time management – organizing, planning, and prioritizing.
  • Ability to multi‑task and change directions easily.
  • Kindness and concern for others.
Physical Requirements
  • Lift boxes and packages weighing up to 60 pounds.
  • Lift, bend, squat, and stretch to move boxes, parcels, and shipments.
  • Climb small to medium flights of stairs multiple times a day.
  • Stand for extended periods of time.
