Job OverviewAs a Groundskeeper for our extended‑stay hotel, you will maintain the landscaping, exterior grounds, and common outdoor areas of the property with a strong emphasis on accountability, safety, and guest satisfaction. You will work closely with the management and maintenance teams to ensure the property remains clean, safe, and welcoming for guests, visitors, and team members.
Work ScheduleThis position requires weekend availability. The regular schedule includes Wednesday and Thursday as designated days off.
Essential Functions- Take ownership of groundskeeping tasks and ensure they are completed efficiently and to company standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service by maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests and visitors.
- Assist with maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of common areas, including walkways, parking lots, entryways, and other guest‑facing spaces.
- Remove litter, debris, pet waste, and other hazards from the grounds to promote a positive guest experience.
- Monitor exterior areas for safety concerns and report maintenance issues promptly.
- Collaborate with maintenance team members to address landscaping‑related problems and safety hazards.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in groundskeeping, preferably in a hotel or multifamily housing environment.
- Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering legendary service to residents.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.
- Physical fitness and stamina to perform extended periods of groundskeeping tasks, including lifting, bending, and kneeling.
- Valid driver’s license, active auto insurance, and reliable transportation required.
- Ability to walk, stand, and work outdoors for extended periods.
- Ability to bend, kneel, reach, squat, and perform repetitive physical tasks.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull items up to 50 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions and navigate uneven surfaces, stairs, sidewalks, and parking areas.
- Ability to safely use basic hand tools and groundskeeping equipment.
