GSE Supervisor - PHX Airport at Prime Flight Aviation Services. Phoenix, AZ.

The GSE Supervisor oversees daily operations and maintenance of ground support equipment, manages a team of technicians, coordinates maintenance schedules, supports staff training, and collaborates with other departments to maintain efficient airport operations.

• Lead and manage a team of ground support staff and technicians
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment to maintain operational standards and safety
• Manage inventory of parts and supplies, ensuring availability for maintenance tasks
• Collaborate with other airport departments to ensure coordinated support services
• Respond to operational issues and emergencies, implementing effective solutions
• Coordinate and schedule maintenance and repair activities for ground support equipment
• Exemplify Prime Flight customer service and safety standards
• Perform any additional duties as assigned by management

• 18 years of age or older
• Eligible to work in the United States
• Valid state‑issued driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• Effective communication in English (reading, writing, speaking)
• At least 2 years of experience supervising teams in an operational or maintenance environment, preferably in aviation
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems and maintenance procedures
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment
• Ability to access and interpret information in print and electronically, including the use of electronic devices (IPads/Tablets, Computers, Mobile Devices)
• Effectively communicate with colleagues and clients, both in person and electronically
• Pass background check and drug screen
• Eligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances (FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs, U.S. Postal – as applicable)
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays, as airports are 24/7

• Lift up to 70 pounds
• Prolonged standing and walking in indoor/outdoor environment
• Reach with arms and grasp with hands
• Push, pull, crawl, crouch, bend, stretch, squat, kneel, climb and work at elevated heights
• Exposure to moderate or at times high noise levels; biohazards and/or chemicals; outdoor elements
• Must be able to hear and respond to spoken voice and audible alarms
• Tasks involve repetitive motions of arms, wrists, hands or fingers
• Specific vision abilities: close vision (20 inches or less); distance vision (20 feet or more); peripheral vision; depth perception; adjust focus
