Maintenance Supervisor - Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport

Position Overview

Supervisor – Aviation Ground Support (Oshkosh Aero Tech)

Pay Range: $78,500 – $87,500 per year

• Provide daily oversight and direction of hourly employee teams to ensure operational excellence, including personnel scheduling, work orders, safety, productivity plans, material availability, and handling and resolution of employee issues.
• Interact daily with team members to provide support and on-the-job training.
• Strive to improve management, employee, and customer satisfaction.
• Develop processes and documentation to support operational activities.
• Provide leadership in support of the Site Manager and Assistant Site Manager in overseeing operational performance.
• Act in a leadership role when the Site Manager is absent.
• Comply with the company safety program and training.
• Perform other duties as assigned or needed.

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Associate Degree or Technical College Certification preferred.
• 2+ years of maintenance experience (preferred).
• Experience in a Supervisory capacity required.
• Active Driver's License required.
• Strong organizational, participative management, team building, customer service, and verbal & written communication skills.
• Ability to operate the CMMS database.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Familiarity with airport operations (a plus).
• Ability to clearly direct, lead work tasks, and delegate assignments.
• Ability to communicate professionally with customers and employees.
• Badge to work in secure airport areas required.
• Ability to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift including weekends and holidays.

• Constant standing, walking, use of hands and fingers, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, talking, and hearing.
• Regular lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds.
• Work in outdoor weather conditions on an airport ramp near aircraft, vehicles, and jet aircraft, and in confined areas of baggage conveyor systems.
• Requires good vision (close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, focus adjustment) and good hand/eye coordination.
• Primary work environment is office-like but requires on-site presence in active airport conditions.
