Job Overview
At Velociti, the Machine Operator specializing in Floor Care will operate, maintain, and optimize floor care equipment, ensuring the cleanliness and appearance of floors in various facilities.

- Participate in team meetings
- Operate and maintain floor care equipment, including floor scrubbers, polishers, and vacuum cleaners
- Ensure proper setup, calibration, and adjustment of machines for different floor surfaces
- Perform routine and specialized cleaning of floors using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment
- Address stains, spills, and other floor‑related issues promptly and effectively
- Inspect finished floors to ensure cleanliness, shine, and adherence to quality standards
- Identify and rectify deficiencies in the cleaning process
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while operating machinery and handling cleaning agents
- Conduct regular safety checks on equipment and report any issues promptly
- Conduct routine maintenance on floor care equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Identify and report malfunctions or the need for repairs to the maintenance team
- Monitor and manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment parts
- Place orders for supplies as needed to maintain operational efficiency
- Maintain accurate records of cleaning schedules, equipment maintenance, and incidents
- Provide reports on machine performance and cleaning outcomes as required
- High School diploma or equivalent education
- Proven experience as a Floor Care Machine Operator or similar role
- Familiarity with a variety of floor care equipment and their operation
- Knowledge of different floor types and appropriate cleaning methods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high‑quality results
- Ability to follow safety guidelines and use personal protective equipment
