Position: Cleaning Crew - The Van Buren

Job Summary

The Van Buren is seeking a Cleaning Crew Member to keep our venues show‑ready and create an incredible fan experience. This position is responsible for maintaining venue and bar cleanliness in an efficient, professional manner and contributing to an excellent guest experience.

What this role will do
  • Keep the venue safe and clean at all times, including cleaning and disinfecting all fixtures, floors, mirrors, doors, and walls of restrooms, keeping all guest‑facing areas free of trash, and restocking restroom paper materials and hygiene products as needed.
  • Keep work areas neat and orderly, clean equipment, and assist with other cleaning duties as assigned.
  • Partner with fellow crew members at the end of a show to close the venue, which may include sweeping, picking up trash, and putting away equipment.
  • Maintain service rooms and storage areas.
  • Use cleaning tools such as mops, brooms, squeegees, cleaning cloths, sponges, pails, brushes, and a vacuum cleaner.
  • Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned or needed.
What this person will bring
  • Requires a high school diploma or GED.
  • Must be highly motivated and able to work independently.
  • Three or more years in cleaning services or related work preferred.
  • Position requires constant walking, climbing stairs, lifting and carrying 50 lbs. or more, and occasional sitting.
