Maintenance Technician / Mechanic

This is a full‑time maintenance job working 40 hours a week. No per diem and no relocation assistance.
Maintenance HelperTo ensure the safe, compliant, and secure movement of vendors, contractors, and other visitors within the facility, while ensuring safe work and protecting sensitive areas. Also to assist maintenance personnel as needed.
- Escort & Movement:
Guide and accompany vendors, contractors, and visitors on‑site, ensuring they follow approved routes and remain within designated areas. - Compliance Enforcement:
Ensure all visitors adhere to site rules, clearance requirements, and safety protocols. - Incident Reporting:
Report suspicious or non‑compliant behavior immediately to supervisor or security. - Coordination:
Communicate effectively with security staff, vendors, and site management to coordinate escort schedules and procedures. - Safety & Risk Mitigation:
Maintain visibility of escorted individuals at all times; advise staff in adjacent areas about the presence of visitors and any precautions needed. - Maintenance assistance:
Assist maintenance personnel as needed with various maintenance tasks. - Site Cleanup – Pick up trash and debris as assigned.
- Must be able to perform work wearing personal protective equipment. Including but not limited to the following: rain gear, chemical protective clothing, supplied air and air‑purifying respirators, safety harness, sand blast hoods, fire‑resistant coveralls, hard hat, ear plugs and safety glasses.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to have full range of mobility in upper and lower body, able to reach overhead, able to work in various positions, including, but not limited to, stooping, standing, bending over, sitting, kneeling, squatting; use hands to handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs;
work at heights; balance for extended periods of time. - Other duties as assigned.
Education – no minimum education requirements.
Experience – 6+ months experience in an industrial setting preferred but not required.
Must pass a pre‑employment physical, drug test, and a background check. Must have a valid driver’s license.
