Job Overview

Marketech International Corporation USA is seeking a dependable, organized, and hands‑on Facilities Manager to manage facility operations, maintenance activities, vendor services, and workplace‑support needs within a semiconductor and industrial project environment.

This position is responsible for the overall condition, functionality, safety, and operational readiness of MICU buildings, offices, trailers, storage areas, vehicles, tools, and related facility spaces. The Facilities Manager will establish maintenance priorities, oversee preventive‑maintenance programs, coordinate vendors and contractors, manage facility‑related projects, maintain records, monitor expenses, and perform or support hands‑on maintenance when appropriate.

Although this role may not initially have direct reports, it operates with manager‑level responsibility and serves as the primary owner of facility maintenance operations. The Facilities Manager will provide direction to vendors, contractors, and internal stakeholders and will be accountable for ensuring maintenance work is completed safely, efficiently, within budget, and according to company expectations.

The ideal candidate has strong facility or building maintenance experience, proven vendor and project coordination skills, working knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and vehicle maintenance, and the ability to independently manage multiple facility priorities.

Key Responsibilities Facilities Operations Management
  • Manage day-to-day facility operations for MICU buildings, offices, trailers, storage areas, vehicles, and related support spaces.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for facility maintenance, repair, safety, and workplace‑support needs.
  • Assess maintenance requests, determine priorities, assign appropriate resources, and ensure timely resolution.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain preventive‑maintenance schedules for facilities, vehicles, equipment, and building systems.
  • Establish facility‑maintenance standards, inspection routines, service expectations, and documentation requirements.
  • Monitor the overall condition, safety, cleanliness, functionality, and operational readiness of assigned facilities.
  • Identify recurring facility concerns and develop short‑term and long‑term corrective‑action plans.
  • Coordinate maintenance activities to minimize disruption to employees, visitors, and project operations.
  • Provide regular facility status updates, risk summaries, and recommendations to company leadership.
Maintenance and Repair Oversight
  • Oversee routine inspections, preventive maintenance, corrective repairs, and emergency maintenance activities.
  • Evaluate maintenance concerns involving plumbing, HVAC, electrical, mechanical, building, trailer, vehicle, and general facility systems.
  • Perform or assist with minor repairs and hands‑on maintenance tasks within approved scope.
  • Determine when repairs can be completed internally and when licensed contractors or specialized service providers are required.
  • Coordinate HVAC inspections, filter replacements, thermostat issues, and routine system maintenance.
  • Oversee basic plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and vehicle‑maintenance activities.
  • Ensure complex repairs, system failures, safety concerns, or urgent maintenance issues are escalated and resolved appropriately.
  • Verify that completed repairs meet quality, safety, and operational expectations.
  • Develop replacement recommendations for aging, damaged, or unreliable facility equipment.
Vendor and Contractor Management
  • Identify, evaluate, and coordinate qualified maintenance vendors, contractors, and service providers.
