Role Description The Field Technician is a full-time, hybrid role based in the Greater Phoenix Area, with a mix of on‑site property visits and occasional work‑from‑home tasks. This role focuses on inspecting and maintaining vacation rental properties, ensuring they are guest‑ready, safe, and functioning properly. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include performing routine checks of utilities and appliances, coordinating minor repairs, documenting property conditions, and communicating issues promptly to the operations team.
The Field Technician will interact with vendors and housekeeping staff, verify completion and quality of work, and support smooth turnover between guest stays. The role also includes updating maintenance records, following company standards and checklists, and responding to urgent field calls to help maintain an exceptional guest experience.
Qualifications
- Strong property maintenance and troubleshooting skills, including basic repairs for fixtures, appliances, and building systems.
- Ability to conduct detailed property inspections, document findings, and follow structured processes and checklists.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with operations, housekeeping, and external vendors.
- Reliable time management and organizational skills to prioritize multiple properties and tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Comfort with using mobile apps and digital tools for reporting, scheduling, and record‑keeping.
- Valid driver’s license, dependable transportation, and willingness to travel between properties in the Greater Phoenix Area.
- Experience in hospitality, property management, facilities, or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to lift and move light to moderate equipment and supplies, and to perform on‑site work in varying weather conditions.
