Facilities Manager

Invitation Homes seeks a Facilities Manager to oversee maintenance and operations for a portfolio of single-family rental homes. In this field-based role, you will plan and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance, manage vendors, and ensure homes meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards. You will track work orders, control budgets, and support renovations and repairs while minimizing resident disruption. Partnering closely with operations and resident services teams, you will drive performance, data-based improvements, and a consistently high resident experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day facilities operations for a portfolio of single-family rental homes.
• Develop and execute preventive and corrective maintenance plans.
• Manage vendors and service contractors, including bidding, selection, and performance oversight.
• Monitor property conditions and ensure safety, regulatory, and company standards are met.
• Manage facilities budgets, approve invoices, and track costs against targets.
• Coordinate renovation and repair projects to minimize resident disruption.
• Use work order and CMMS systems to prioritize, track, and report maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with leasing, resident services, and operations teams to support resident satisfaction.
• Analyze maintenance data and KPIs to drive continuous improvement.
• Support emergency response, after-hours issues, and on-call coverage as needed.
