Terros Health is pleased to share an exciting and rewarding opportunity for a Facilities Technician based out of our administrative office in central Phoenix, AZ. Reporting to the Facilities Assistant Director, the ideal individual is flexible, works well independently and enjoys hands-on challenges and problem solving.
The Facilities Technician is responsible for the maintenance, inspection and repair of the inside, outside and exterior areas around buildings, including ventilating and air conditioning, plumbing, electrical systems, safety items, locks and doors. This position is responsible for facility services of assigned areas, for maintaining policies/procedures, safety programs and records. Performs general maintenance work, develops and completes work orders as required.
High level of initiative, autonomy, and organization is required. Excellent communication skills. Regular contact and good rapport with all levels of personnel throughout the organization. Maintains strict confidentiality of all departmental information, communications, and activities. Responds to disasters and emergencies. Performs other related functions or special projects. Reports to the Facilities Services Director.
- Maintenance Technician
Duties include: - Inspect buildings inside and out and facilitate repairs as needed.
- Lite repairs of plumbing, Electrical, drywall and ceiling tiles
- Performs Preventive Maintenance work on all buildings and equipment
- Moving furniture and offices as needed.
- Paints and repairs outside of buildings.
- Monitors and inspects janitorial for cleanliness and requirements
- Inspect and monitors Landscapers and help when needed.
- Complete paperwork accurately and on time.
- Responds to on call in a timely manner, within 30 minutes and on site in 60 minutes
- Supports the business in after-hours/Weekend events.
- Participating in assigned committees

- A High School diploma or GED equivalent required
- One
- Three years' experience in commercial, institutional and/or industrial sectors - Preferred
- Experience in a health care setting. - Computer skills required
- Must possess good communication skills.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
- Mechanical aptitude
- Must be reliable, self-motivated, have the proper skills and experience.
- Must have valid Arizona driver's license, be 21 years of age with minimum 4 years driving experience and meet requirements of Terros Health's driving policy
- Must have a valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance card or apply for an Arizona fingerprint clearance card (Level
1) within 7 working days of assuming role. - Must pass a TB Test, criminal background check and drug test
