- Maintain all equipment for manufacturing and the facility through preventative maintenance and unscheduled repairs
- Help ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal building codes and OSHA
- Ensure facility meets all safety regulations/requirements
- Assist in setting up for meetings held in facility
- Perform other duties/special projects as assigned
- Repair manufacturing equipment and peripheral support equipment, including vacuum pumps, compressors, and dryers
- Perform preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment and peripheral support equipment
- Assist with installation, relocation, and decommissioning of equipment
- Use CMMS to schedule PMs, log repairs, and record downtime
- Troubleshoot and diagnose basic equipment problems
- Maintain spare parts inventory
- Source parts and tools needed to perform various tasks
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Perform facility maintenance, including interior painting and minor interior structure repairs
- Typically requires a minimum of 2 years of related experience
- High School Diploma
- Prior facility maintenance experience
- Basic knowledge of tools and proper usage
- Good interpersonal skills
- Able to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to change focus from one problem to another quickly
- Some knowledge of mechanical, plumbing, electrical, pneumatics, etc.
- Advanced technical degree or college preferred
Demonstrates expertise in facility maintenance, including preventative maintenance and repairs of manufacturing equipment. Proficient in compliance with safety regulations and building codes, with strong problem-solving abilities in mechanical and electrical systems.
