What You'll Do

Asa Critical Facilities Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, monitoring, and repairing critical infrastructure systems that support data center operations.

Key Responsibilities

+ Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on critical and non-critical facility equipment

+ Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot HVAC, plumbing, generators, temperature controls, fire detection and suppression systems, and Building Management Systems (BMS)

+ Support electrical operations, maintenance programs, and energy management initiatives within a critical facilities environment

+ Execute work according to established MOPs, SOPs, ERPs, and maintenance procedures

+ Monitor and operate critical electrical and mechanical systems

+ Coordinate and oversee maintenance activities performed by contractors and vendors

+ Complete preventative and corrective maintenance work orders and document activities within a CMMS system

+ Respond quickly to facility alarms, equipment failures, emergencies, and customer concerns

Required Qualifications

Must Have

+ 3-5+ years of hands-on experience supporting critical electrical or mechanical systems

+ Experience working with one or more of the following:

+ Electrical distribution systems

+ HVAC systems

+ Generators

+ UPS systems

+ Critical facilities environments

+ Industrial maintenance

+ Data centers

+ Building automation systems

+ Strong troubleshooting and maintenance skills

+ Ability to work independently and respond effectively to emergencies

+ High School Diploma or GED

+ Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications

+ Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC, or Facilities certifications

+ Data center experience

+ Experience using CMMS or maintenance tracking software

+ Understanding of change management processes

+ Experience working in mission-critical environments

Schedule Requirements

+ Ability to work 12-hour shifts

+ Must be flexible to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed

+ Overtime opportunities available
