Janitor / Custodial Worker | Phoenix, AZ Pay Rate: $ 16 /hr.+ Excellent SoAZ benefits 2 nd Shift : M-F 1PM- 9P On-Site Temp-to-Hire Local Only Candidates – Resume must specify the current location of the candidate

Duties/Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning/sanitation of offices, restrooms, common areas, corridors, and entrances
• Sweep, mop, scrub, strip, wax, and maintain hard-surface floors per State standards
• Vacuum, spot clean, extract, and shampoo carpeted areas
• Clean high-touch surfaces, furniture, doors, fixtures, glass, walls
• Clean and restock restrooms and break rooms
• Collect/dispose of trash and recycling in line with procedures
• Restock custodial/restroom consumables; report supply needs
• Handle and use cleaning chemicals safely (per SDS, policies)
• Operate and maintain equipment: vacuums, floor machines, buffers, auto-scrubbers, extractors, and pressure washers
• Perform deep cleaning, floor care, carpet extraction, high dusting, and special project cleaning
• Move furniture/materials as needed to complete work
• Maintain work/custodial storage areas in safe, sanitary condition
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, spills, leaks, and damaged equipment
• Follow security procedures for facility and assigned work areas
• Provide professional, courteous service to all building occupants
• Meet work schedule, task assignments, SOPs, quality, safety, and sanitation requirements
• Perform related custodial/facility support duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Previous custodial experience

Preferred Experience/Certifications

• Professional cleaning experience in facility operations a plus
